My name is Kelsey Luckett.
I was born and raised right where I'm at, and I love that. I love living in a small town and knowing pretty much everyone I see on a trip to the grocery store.
I am married to my best friend and high school sweetheart, and we have two kids who I adore with my whole heart. I am also a Children's minister, and those kids are so special to me!
I would like to say that photography is my calling, but that wouldn't be the truth. I thoroughly enjoy photography and it is a passion. I love making people happy, and I can do that through my work.
But what God has called me to is children and the relationships they carry.
I've been crazy about babies my whole life, and my #1 goal in life was (and still is) to be a good Mom. I could not wait to hold my babies in my arms and it be a reality. And now I have that!
I went to community college after high school and received a degree in Early Childhood Education, and spent a good amount of time studying infant and toddler development. I planned on transferring to a university to continue my education to eventually teach pre-k through 3rd grade when photography fell into my lap. I've spent the past 7 years working with children and their families, and I've loved every minute.
I love photographing families in their most exciting phases of life because I get to bring them joy. I get handed a blank canvas by my clients and I get to bottle up the best emotion there is (in my book), freeze it in time, and paint a beautiful memory that will last a life time! I love my job and the fact that I have the opportunity to be a part of such special moments in people's lives!
